One of the most fun days I had was the Sub-5 Century.  Victor spearheaded that group, and the training rides to get ready.  Learning the double rotating paceline was great fun, and working tightly together as a team.  I loved Victor's enthusiasm for any kind of a ride, as long as it was fast.

Such sad and shocking news.  I fondly remember riding with Victor with both the BBC and the Sub 5 century.  I remember and miss his fun and warm character, how he loved to instigate rotating pace lines, and how, only Victor, could make "car back" with his accent so entertaining and a staple of our rides.  I also remember how he rode hard and well, yet was focused on his wife too and made sure she was OK and well taken care of.  Even if it meant he peeled back or changed his ride.  My prayers are with Victor, his wife Beata, his family, and friends.  He was a good man and will be missed.

Anna.

This is such sad news.  I just saw both Victor and Beata last week at my health club. They had shared that they had lost several
members of their family last year and had been in Poland quite frequently. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

Danny

Mitch and I rode with him and Beata several times with the WW. He was a strong rider so we told him to leave Beata with us and we'd take care of her. He'd surge ahead and come back to make sure she was ok. Then surge ahead and come back. Finally he realized we weren't going to drop her and he met us at the end of the ride. He'll continue to watch over her from above.

Very, very sad to hear that Victor passed away.

I'll have him and his family in my prayers.

A favorite memory I have of Victor is when we'd be in our paceline and a car was approaching from behind. He'd shout "car back' in his unique and unmistakable voice to warn us and keep his friends safe.

All of us who rode with him will have Victor in our thoughts, and I know he'll continue to watch out for us from heaven.

Sorry I missed the ride. If anyone has the energy or interest, there is a PACK ride up the Alpe at 9:45. Sub 2 w/kg with regroup stops and good banter on Discord. No minimum level required, if you are part of the group, you will be able to pass through the jungle and alp barriers

BBC, any interest in riding up to Woodstock with a Starbucks mid-ride stop this Sunday?  At 9am it is forecasted to be 38 and then warms up to mid 40s.
Those hard core riders can do Tina’s Zwift and then outside to Woodstock!!
Email me privately if interested..and will post if we have a few takers..
Thanks,

BBC,

Here is the route from RWGPS for tomorrow’s ride to Woodstock. We will use the same route in reverse to get back (total is 52 miles). We will meet at 9am at our usual parking area at Barrington high school.

Anna see you along this route.
