Normally the Tour of the Gila is one of the big pro stage races.  Because of COVID, it's being done this year on Zwift.  There are typically CAT 5, Cat 3/4, Cat 1/2 and Pro divisions.  Snitz was offered a spot on one of the Pro teams for the race.  149 entrants, several of which are world tour pros, the others apparently the top domestic pros in the US.

Snitz finished today's stage in 20th place.  About the same in the general classic (after yesterday's TT) going into tomorrow's big climbing stage.  Fingers crossed.  BTW his average wattage for the 88 min race was 328.  Avg speed 29.9 (w 2,300+ of climbing).  Given his weight (151 lbs) he was carrying an avg of 4.8 watts/kg for the race.  Ouch!
